As is the answer to most things, it depends. I usually say if your wedding is small (less than 150 people) than you don’t need a second shooter. But if you have a small wedding and still want one, DO IT. It’s a great way to capture more of your day. And if you have a big wedding and don’t want a second shooter, that’s also fine! I have shot such weddings by myself and am completely capable and comfortable with doing so.

If it’s around Denver, the odds are in your favor! But if not, don’t be sad. I actually love shooting at new venues! It allows me to be creative. I also will usually arrive to the location early or scope it out beforehand to get an idea of layout.

I’m definitely more of a natural photographer. While I will give you enough direction so you’re not standing there awkwardly, I’m not overly posey. I want the pictures to feel like you guys! My editing style is also pretty true-to-life but I do like to make things look warm and inviting.

I’ve created my packages to be accessible and fair. You’re not only paying for pretty pictures, you’re paying for an experienced professional, expensive equipment, and hours of service. While I will discuss outstanding circumstances, my prices are my prices and if they seem exorbitant, I may not be the photographer for you.

You will get a sneak peek with around 50 photos within a week of your wedding to hold you over until you get your full gallery. For a typical wedding gallery, I aim to have your pictures to you in about a month! This has been true of every wedding I’ve photographed to date. But keep in mind, your contract will say 8 weeks. This gives me wiggle room if I have a bunch of other weddings, if I’m editing second shooter pictures as well as my own, or if extenuating circumstances interrupt my ability to edit.

If something happens to prevent me from photographing your wedding (nothing ever has but you never know), I have a whole community of photographers that I can call on that I have complete and utter confidence in. And as long as I’m able, I will still cull and edit your photos!
